World of Gnar

Hey everyone! Hope you're enjoying our last run from White Rainbow, The Memories, and Jib Kidder/Twankle & Glisten; and if you don't have them yet you can still purchase them from our shop. BEWARE: tapes are moving fast, secure yours now.

Just wanted to share some GNAR related news with you:

- Our very own and special all-ages venue The Artistery is closing its doors forever as another land developer buys up the proper and plans to tear it out to add even more condos no one will move into. Saddest day of all. Come see the final shows week starting March 8th with shows from Little Wings, Eternal Tapestry, White Fang, and many, many more.

- The Memories have been in the studio with Justin Higgins at Old Standard Sound recording studio (The Hunches, The Whines, Eat Skull, BOOM, White Fang, etc.) recording their new LP which is be released cooperatively by Marriage Records and Rad Records (curated by Kyle Field of Little Wings) for a probable summertime release.

- White Fang is going on another US tour starting April 1st and going til May 5th. You can check the confirmed tour dates at marriagerecs.com in the "Events" section. Their tour kick-off and record release for "Greatful to Shred" is on March 30th at Holocene in Portland with The Mean Jeans, BOOM!, and Therapists!

- BOOM! is going on tour with Guantanamo Baywatch starting this Monday (2/28) and will be cruising along the West Coast and South on their way to SXSW.

- Sexhair is going on tour starting March 6th and is having a tour kick off on March 5th with White Fang, Magic Johnson, Kusikia, Psychic Feline, and more.

- Unkle Funkle has his second show on March 10 with Guidance Counselor and Forbidden Friends (Hutch of The Thermals).

- Little Wings is having a record release weekend in Portland starting on March 12th at The Artistery's final show with Rob Walmart and March 13th at Holocene with White Rainbow and friends.

Spring is coming and many miracles are taking place! Come west and come north to Portland and join in us we continue our journey towards rock and roll oblivion!

New tapes on the way directly from BOOM!, Jovontaes (KY), French Dad, Timmy the Terror and the Winter Coats, Erik Gage, and Big Black Cloud/Russian Apartments split.
